About Intermix K4

There are two types of kneading machines: open kneading machines and closed kneading machines.
Open-type machines include roll machines (also called open rolls, two-roll machines, and roll mills). On the other hand, closed types include kneaders, Banbury, and Intermix. Its structure is that there is a room called a chamber containing the rubber material, and two rotors are placed inside this chamber, which kneads the rubber that is placed between them. There are two types: the tangential type, which uses the shearing force of the inner wall of the chamber within the rotor, and the meshing type, which uses the shearing force generated when the rotors mesh.Our company uses the meshing type intermix. The stronger the power during kneading, the more heat will be generated, and since the Banbury has stronger power than the kneader, it will generate more heat.

The intermeshing rotor has strong shearing force, and compared to the tangential type, the heat generated by power can be kept lower than that of conventional kneading machines, and it is designed to improve the dispersibility of rubber and compounding agents.
Additionally, compared to Banbury, which requires a two-story building due to its large size, the Kneader has the advantage of being easy to clean and maintain, as it only requires one floor, which helps improve quality.
